LESSON #1: Introduction to Eric’s Tips

By | June 10, 2008

Welcome to Eric’s Tips!

If you want to start an online business, or if you want to make your current online business more profitable, you’ve come to the right place.

Please watch the following video:

Main points:

  • We’re going to start at the very beginning. It’s OK if you don’t know anything about online business.
  • I’m going to show you how to build an online business from ‘A’ to ‘Z’. If you’re an experienced internet marketer, please bear with me through the basics, because I’ll be sharing all of my advanced techniques too.
  • I have a lot of personal experience and success in online business, which qualifies me to teach you what I know.
  • I’m a “normal” guy, and I’m going to try to avoid the hype as much as possible.
  • Action steps:

    1) White list this email address: tips@ericstips.com (put me on your “safe list” to make sure you receive the lessons). For detailed instructions, please see:
    Whitelist instructions

    2) Make a folder to save all the emails you receive from me.

    3) Commit to following each lesson.

As always, you are welcome to post your questions and comments below.

    Have a great day!

Hi, Okay, here is my first stupid question. You say there are 100 lessons and that I have to white list your address to receive them. Okay, I can do that. I also see a place to sign up to get free e books. Okay, I did that and confirmed my email address. Am I missing how to get the next 99 lessons? I don’t see that anywhere.

First question:I’ve acquired eBooks and software in the past 18 months on computer. Can I set up a squeeze page as an index and put every product on its own seperate index page?If that’s possible,I’l ask the second question later on the process of doing so

Came by after receiving your email. Gonna watch your video and see what I can surmise from it. You have a whole lot of responses and I see you’re interacting with visitors and others are chiming in helping one another. Seems like the perfect situation for genuine networking and collective prosperity. I will return.

My business partner and I have been looking all over for months for someone like you. We too have a vision that includes helping our church with an orphanage in rawanda. I am so glad to see someone present themselves in a very professional and who has credibility. My goal is to meet you personally one day, but for now I greatly appreciate your vision and your desire to help people like us.

Thank you for the lessons. I too have a mass overload going. How often do I get access to the lessons. Anotherwords how often will I be getting them. Once a day or week? Or can I get them as I finish each one. If there is over a 100 lessons I don’t want to take 100 days or more to finish them. Thanks Eric Kato

So refreshing to find someone so down to earth.
Wish I had come across your website much sooner it would have saved me so much time and energy.

      Information overload is an understatement!!
So much over-hyped junk out there it’s impossible to focus.

Looking forward to ALL of your lessons.

My advice is to take it one lesson at a time.

As far as putting up squeeze pages for your ebooks/software that you’ve acquired… it depends on whether you have giveaway rights licensed to you. You can’t just give away anything you downloaded.

I’ll be covering squeeze pages in much depth, but there are other things you need to know before getting to that point.

      Hi Eric,

I’m an entrepreneur, but for the past 10 years, I’ve been a complete failure at making money on the internet.

But I’m not giving up, never giving up… especially with the tremendous opportunity that exists, even in potential!!

I’m really looking forward to applying everything I learn here towards my online business enterprises and make a good living and gaining more financial freedom, time freedom, location freedom and inner freedom.

      Thank you again.

      Hi Eric,

I enjoyed the first lesson. I have been on the www for three years now. I am defently suffering from information overload. I have several email accounts full with emails from marketer”s,Guru”s and safelist advertising. I actually have one of my own.

I have acquired many MRR and PLR products articles etc i really do not know where to start. I am looking forward to being a succesful entrrepenuer but i do know that it will not be easy and that it will take much hard work long hrs and studying .

I am psyched up you got my interest up in what you offer to me and the other people whom are tuned in to your information.

Keep it going its a great service that you are offering i am glad i found my way here.

      Dear Eric,

I’m Indi from Indonesia. I just started learning online business and have made my online store (small one). For now my target is for local people only, because I do the business all by myself and I’m afraid I couldn’t handle bigger demands, since I am still working at office. Do you think is it okay? 🙂

Now I just started to learn your lessons. Hopefully I can follow them well.

PS: Please forgive my bad English ^_^

      Warm regards,

      Indi

Yes I think that’s fine, but one of the main advantages of the internet is being able to market globally. So if you really do have a lot of demand, try to outsource everything ASAP so you can scale your business larger.
