By | June 10, 2008

Welcome to Eric’s Tips!

If you want to start an online business, or if you want to make your current online business more profitable, you’ve come to the right place.

Please watch the following video:

Main points:

  • We’re going to start at the very beginning. It’s OK if you don’t know anything about online business.
  • I’m going to show you how to build an online business from ‘A’ to ‘Z’. If you’re an experienced internet marketer, please bear with me through the basics, because I’ll be sharing all of my advanced techniques too.
  • I have a lot of personal experience and success in online business, which qualifies me to teach you what I know.
  • I’m a “normal” guy, and I’m going to try to avoid the hype as much as possible.
  • Action steps:

    1) White list this email address: tips@ericstips.com (put me on your “safe list” to make sure you receive the lessons). For detailed instructions, please see:
    Whitelist instructions

    2) Make a folder to save all the emails you receive from me.

    3) Commit to following each lesson.

As always, you are welcome to post your questions and comments below.

    Have a great day!

Hi Eric, I am SO new to all of this computer stuff. I’m 61 and have no computer experience, however I thought I would give it a try. I heard that there were all kinds of opportunities on line so I bought this used computer and started looking. I’ve even purchased some information that sounds quite promising but dosen’t tell me what I need to know which is NOW THAT I HAVE THIS INFORMATION,WHAT DO I DO WHITH IT? I’ve been praying for someone to answer that question and I think I found my answer. THANK YOU, John W

      Hey Eric,

Man I wish I would have ran into you about 4 yrs ago. But better late than never. I have picked up some really cool products from you at a more than reasonable price.

I have already gone through the information overload phase and have broken free from it and now have the ball rolling and gathering steam. I will still follow this course, because I have found that getting different perspectives is always a good thing. As long as you leave time to “take action.”

For anyone who comes here that’s really new to this, you have found a great place to start.

All I can say out of all my years of doing this is “taking action” is the most important thing, but when your following to many people you tend to take less action and do more learning than you need to.

I would forget everyone else for the time being and take this course by itself, then IMPLEMENT what you’ve learned. TAKING ACTION or the lack of, held me back for so long.

Start doing it and you will be amazed. Someone else I follow has said that “Most people quit right when they were about to succeed.”

      Thanks Eric,

      Jay

      Hello Eric
I am excited to learn from a fellow believer. I am one of those “Info Overload” sufferers who just needs a way to put all the pieces together. I am also excited to learn from someone from my home state of Colorado (God’s Country). I am looking forward to the next lesson. BTW I would love to take you for coffee sometime and just say thanks!

I am so excited to find that you are a Christian. I have white listed you, and I WILL be doing everything as you suggest. I am an Associate Pastor in Australia. The church we have is too small to support us yet, so I have to work in a secular job. I need to start making money from home so I can follow my calling full time. I am excited to see someone who is not affraid to confess his faith. I am not exactly a newbie at internet marketing, but I have never made a cent online. God Bless and I look forward to getting more of your emails.

      Hi Eric,
I am sorry to hear you are having a tough year health wise but I wish you the very best in health and prayers towards your wellbeing. I am viewing your set of videos that came with the PLR package. Like Henry above, I am not new at IM, just a newbie at making any money..not a single cent…but I have faith that it will come to me and from what I hear, I like your coaching style. I have actually learned a few new tidbits. So I really really am looking forward to moving ahead with your teachings. Bless you and Thanks.

      Hi Eric,
I share the other positive comments. A question: what’s the difference between the “Erics Tips” series of lessons and the “52 White Label E-books” I’ve just downloaded. I think I’m suffering from information constipation … as well as analysis paralysis! As you say, so much information coming from so many sources but learning is contextual …so I’ll stick with you for the 100 lessons!! Thanks

I am not sure why it happened but the same thing was happening to me when I was using Firefox and when I switched to IE, the video started playing. Maybe you can give that a try. Just a thought. I am no techie so I struggle too sometimew when things like this happen. Good luck

That’s my thought too Marcial. I could probably set up a few businesses. For now, I would just love to have one work. So I, too, am looking to Eric, ever so gratefully, for his teachings. Thanks Eric.

      Dear Eric
I am so glad thatI have found your course .I have gone through a few seminars that charge a small amount but trying to do it online is totally a different thing.I can’t afford to pay a few thousand dollars for the whole course and
at the end nothing is done.i really hope that this will work for me.As it is not easy to get a job as i am in my late forties.I am now supporting two teenagers who are going to college soon.It is sad to hear my daughter telling me that studying is not getting knowledge but it is for survival in the society due to our family financial situation .As a mother i feel very sad so i sincerely hope that I get do well in internet business.

You are absolutly right! I recognise all comments and Erics information in the first lesson. Tons of info from other marketers is just too much to take in. Not to forget the technical things about wordpress and websites!
I also need to put things together, and after 9 month studys, I still feel as a newbie.

      Hi Eric,
I sure this puts the pieces of the puzzle together! I am spinning in a sea of information overload and yes there is no clear cut recipe to put it all together – everyday I get up with my affirmations and motivational stuff and wind up not much futher than the last day. Bless you for helping us.

      Hello Savannah,

Yes, that would increase the chances that your email provider will not perceive any lesson as being spam.

You could also keep an eye on each lesson number that you receive. If you notice that a number has been skipped, then simply retrieve the missing lesson from your spam folder.

      Hi Eric!
I joined Internet Marketing hoping I can improve our life by doing this. But I think it’s not a good idea because since I joined on IM I’ve been stressed out and already spent thousands of dollars with 1 guru and more money spent for products, ebooks, downloads, and tell you, the more I spent learning all the stuff the more I get overload and confused…I don’t even know how to start! So,I haven’t made any buck online for sure…(I just want to quit…)Finally, found your site! Your learning tips are very unique and so I will give this a try. Thank you and God bless you!

      Hi eric :

i am a newbie at this internet business. I live overseas (Philippines) and would like to know if I can write from home or on the internet. I do not have a website, and am not much of a techie person, as I only know the basic computer techniques – for e-mailing, basically, but would like to start writing for others, from home, as I do not mind writing and in fact am very interested in doing so, and at the same time, earn something for myself!!! However, I do not know what the constraints are for someone like me who lives overseas and HOW to process the “articles” that I would be writing. I do not have a facebook nor a twitter account, as I value my privacy too much to be included in most social networking set-ups. I also would like to write from home, so that I can schedule my time to these pursuits.
Please advise on what I can or cannot do.
      Thanks.
