Happy Thanksgiving 2009

By | November 26, 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! While I’m aware that only about half of Eric’s Tips readers are in the USA, there’s no reason you can’t be thankful anywhere in the world 🙂

Today I’ve got a few things for you…

1) A Thanksgiving gift
2) A Thanksgiving CONTEST
3) Some stuff for you to check out

First, I want everyone who reads this newsletter to know that I’m thankful for YOU. Without you, Eric’s Tips wouldn’t exist.

Here’s a FREE small gift as a token of my appreciation. It’s a collection of WordPress Sales Letter themes. In other words, these themes enable you to easily create a sales letter on any WordPress site. This is a $27 product:

Next, this is the 2nd annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!

We did it last year and it was fun so we’re doing it again…

UPDATE: The contest is now over. Thank you to all who participated! We had approximately 675 comments during the contest.

How the winner was chosen: As stated at the beginning of the contest, it would be random this time (Last year I had such a hard time picking the best comments!). So I took the total # of comments before the deadline, and went to Random.org and generated a number between 1 and that number. Then I counted down from the top of the comments until I reached that number.

The winner will receive the website that I created in this demo video: Site Profit Bot demo

And the winner is…

Nadiya, who posted this comment:

“Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Eric. I have everything to be thankful for – with all the trials and tribulations that comes with life – I have family that is always there for me and we always find a way to try and make the best of it – always with the thought that there are people that have less than us and so the gratitude is always there. And Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and the free gift – Just what I needed!”

Congratulations Nadiya!

OK, lastly…

Here is some stuff for you to check out while you’re laying on the couch digesting turkey this afternoon…

(No longer available)

Have a great day and a happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for many things. First of all my Salvation in Christ Jesus. I have had a very trying year with losing my job and then having several heart attacks. I signed up to learn the internet in April of this year as I cannot go back to work but still need extra income to make my house payment. However I am really struggling on how to get going with making any money on the internet. I really appreciate you Eric in being so gracious to allow me and others to learn from you. I also appreciate that you are using your money to help missionaries. I must start making some income by the first of the year or I will fold. Thanks for all your help and I trust that I will be able to find a way to make money this next year. I am so thankful that my family has stood by me through this horrible year. I am alive and I can still walk. Thank you Lord. I bought some software from you this past week but I do not have a clue on how it is supposed to work. Maybe I can figure it out. Thanks for all your lessons. God Bless

Hi Eric, Among countless other things, I am both thankful and grateful that I know the difference in the meaning of these two fine words. First the similarity is that they are appreciation! The difference is that Thankful, is appreciation of comfort added, and gratitude is appreciation of discomfort removed! By the way appreciation is about setting a value on something and in the deepest sense “To Increase the value set on something (or someone). For example I am thankful for tips that bring me closer to my goals and I am grateful that the frustration of the mystery is relieved!!! I am especially thankful that prosperity is more readily available to all who reach for it. Please have a prosperous future and also be successful in the things that finances cannot afford. Aloha Bern

Hallo to all USA Thanksgiving celebrators! Happy holiday. first and foremost I’m thankful for the past year because personally It made me giant quantum leaps towards my business success. this has been a year that I first established my first profitable eBay shop. my first websites, my first SEO campaigns, my first Ad words campaign & my first click bank check! So this was a tremendous first business year of mine. I thank the fact that all of my family is around, that I met a group of great people this year, that i have a personal vision of mine, and that I found sources of knowledge that can assist me to get to my goals in life. So…I guess thanksgiving qualifies everywhere eventually, even if I’m not from the US. Happy holiday!

    Hi Eric,

Even though this past year has been a tough year for myself along with alot of other people, I have alot to be grateful for. However, I’m mostly grateful for positive, God centered people like yourself who bring people together and offer something of value that makes us better in some way, whether it be on the internet or any other form. In these troubling times we definitely need more of this. I Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving. Looking forward to the rest of your lessons. That’s my 5 cents. lol

    Many Thanks and Happy Holidays!

    Eric,
Thanks for the opportunity to give thanks for what we have, not what we feel we are without. These are stressful days for alot of us but through perserverence and belief in ourselves and our Country, we will thrive. I personally have lost alot both in family and financially in the past 2 years. I have 6 living family members and yet, all were too busy to think of me on this holiday. So, after feeling sorry for myself for an hour or two, I pulled up my Big Girl Panties and went down to the local Gospel Mission to volunteer my help. It was Great! Lifted my spirits and now I know I can face tomorrow.
Best Wishes to you and yours this Holiday Season

Eric, this year 2009, I am very much thankful for my son, wife, and a God who continually provides our needs. I am thankful for my health and to watch my 21 month old son grow as he is a toddler. I am also thankful for you Eric, you have been like what the Proverbs talks of “As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Kool blessing of a contest and a great idea allowing us to share what we are thankful for. Thank you for allowing me to interact on what we are thankful for this 2009 year. Much success to all and to the winner! Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hi Eric
I’m so grateful for all your free information tips. I still have a backlog to get through as a newbie.
Although I lost my wife two years ago (just as I reached my pension age) and miss her so much, I’m so grateful for having been with her for 35yrs.
And I’m grateful for the honest guys around like yourself who offer genuine help.
I am sure what you give will return in abundance. I’m grateful for that law of the universe.

    Hi Eric,

Firstly I am Thankful for my Salvation and My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am truely Thankful that I stumbled across Erics Tips. It is a blessing. It is an awesome thing to see that there is an Internet Marketer that cares for the people that follow him and what he has to offer and say. You are a blessing to those who follow you and to your family. Your humbleness is an inspiring attribute. Awesome.
Unfortinatley, we dont celebrate Thanksgiving here in New Zealand. I wish we did. I think that I might just start it myself.

    Happy Thanksgiving,

    Shane.

I just watched your video. I have been trying a similar type of software on a trial for two weeks and it is definitely not user friendly. I does not have near the quality or function you demonstrated in your Site Profit Bot demo. I wanted to make christmas sites but have really been struggling with it. I definitely want to know more about Site profit Bot! But you wanted to know what I am thankful for this year. I can tell you I am sooo thankful that my daughter has now recovered from H1N1 and pneumonia! She was very sick for a few months.

It’s hard sometimes to feel thankful for things when you know there are people at this time of thanks who don’t have a lot to be thankful for, so I ask everyone reading this to extend a hand to those facing adversity in these tough economic times…..and God Bless You.

    Hi Eric,
I have a lot to be grateful for. Number 1 of course is Christ’s salvation, mercy and grace. Years ago I was in a serious car accident that left me paralyzed. I had to leave my Master’s program, I lost my job, and I was sued. I would read Romans 8 with puzzlement and dismay as things slid into the abyss, but I remembered Peter’s saying something to the effect, ” Lord, who else can we turn to, who else has the words of life”.
Fast forward to last year when I decided to start an Internet business. I am sure you know it is not so easy:) I am learning and developing the skill sets I need and by the grace of God, my confidence that He will do more than I could think or ask makes me know I eventually will success.
Hey Eric, while I have your ear, best wishes for the new path in life you are deciding to walk…may the Lord continue to richly bless you!
