Happy Thanksgiving 2009

By | November 26, 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! While I’m aware that only about half of Eric’s Tips readers are in the USA, there’s no reason you can’t be thankful anywhere in the world 🙂

Today I’ve got a few things for you…

1) A Thanksgiving gift
2) A Thanksgiving CONTEST
3) Some stuff for you to check out

First, I want everyone who reads this newsletter to know that I’m thankful for YOU. Without you, Eric’s Tips wouldn’t exist.

Here’s a FREE small gift as a token of my appreciation. It’s a collection of WordPress Sales Letter themes. In other words, these themes enable you to easily create a sales letter on any WordPress site. This is a $27 product:

Next, this is the 2nd annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!

We did it last year and it was fun so we’re doing it again…

UPDATE: The contest is now over. Thank you to all who participated! We had approximately 675 comments during the contest.

How the winner was chosen: As stated at the beginning of the contest, it would be random this time (Last year I had such a hard time picking the best comments!). So I took the total # of comments before the deadline, and went to Random.org and generated a number between 1 and that number. Then I counted down from the top of the comments until I reached that number.

The winner will receive the website that I created in this demo video: Site Profit Bot demo

And the winner is…

Nadiya, who posted this comment:

“Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Eric. I have everything to be thankful for – with all the trials and tribulations that comes with life – I have family that is always there for me and we always find a way to try and make the best of it – always with the thought that there are people that have less than us and so the gratitude is always there. And Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and the free gift – Just what I needed!”

Congratulations Nadiya!

OK, lastly…

Here is some stuff for you to check out while you’re laying on the couch digesting turkey this afternoon…

(No longer available)

Have a great day and a happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for so much. Even though I am still struggling myself to reach that pinnacle of success, I am grateful for the opportunity to help those less fortunate. One of my prospects turned out to be a man who really wants to supplement his meagre disability pension, or replace it and become independent of the state, but has no disposable income to spend to get that start. We have stayed in touch over the past months as I keep an eye open for an opportunity for him.
I have been looking for something that he could get started with where very little or no startup cost is required. Needless to say, I have not found it… until now.

Yes,Eric, I certainly could use a free website, as I’m sure many on your list can. However, I am better off than my new friend Sam and I will do fine. So my wish is to see something magical happen for Sam so that he can get that start he needs.

Actually WordPress runs on PHP too. You could conceivably have a WordPress blog and a Sitebot site on the same domain.

I am thankful for good health, a business which is progressing slow but sure for the better, for my friends, and for the opportunity I see around even the gloomy view tries to hide them.
I am thankful that this year I am a different person vs. last year, and I have to thank Eric and his inspiring lessons for it! All the best Eric whatever new projects you will jump on. You are a winner, an excellent organized, a generous person, a loving father and husband and you deserve the best for you and yours.
    All the best

We are surrounded with a sea of opportunity. Unlike any other time in history, those who need, those who want, those who are ready to advance, all have push button opportunities to gain in every way.

There are a variety of teachers, products, services, many for free, such as Eric’s, but then with those introductions, we feel and know the source better before the buy. Smart marketing to be sure. Good material, solid support and a raft of excuse killers that makes you ashamed of any lack if you complain without having taken advantage of the variety available to you.

Hi Eric. Great video on how to use SiteProfitBot. It really is an amazing software.

I am thankful for life and health. I lost my fiance a couple years ago in a car accident and it happened 15 minutes after leaving my side. It opened my eyes as to how fragile life is and that we should never take our loved ones and anyone for that matter for granted. Each day we should open our eyes and be thankful that we are alive and that our Creator through His Grace has given us another day in which to be all we can be. Once we have health and strength we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. If I was offered 2 choices; a billion dollars or perfect health and strength i would have to choose health and strength. With those 2 things i can go on to success. But without them having a billion and being in bad health or dying is like being stuck in the toilet with no toilet paper. 🙂

    Hi Eric,

I’m grateful for my health (I’ve been overcoming an eating disorder), my family and my business – and the business came about as a result of being made redundant – so thanks to my old company for giving me the kick I needed to start afresh!

I’m grateful for all the tough things that have happened to me, as I wouldn’t be the person I am now – even things like a messy divorce, depression, losing my job – they have all spurred me on to make amazing changes in my life and how I look at life, and how I treat others – and I thank my Higher Power for guiding me through smooth AND choppy waters 🙂

And I’m particularly grateful for my friends who have helped me through some wobbly moments – I am blessed to have you in my life – I am blessed in so many ways.

And Eric, thank YOU for asking us to pause and be grateful – too often we rush around and forget to look for the wonderful things we do have.

    Peace…

You know that what the legitimate programs tell everyone and what you pretty much have been saying all along…don’t work a business unless you have a plan.

The best advice you can give anyone and I am glad that you emphasize it as much as you do.

I’m most thankful for the blood of Christ and His cross work. Something I can never imagine – for the first time ever ever Jesus cried out for his daddy and there was complete silence (because He was wearing my sin) – then He died….of a broken heart.

And I’m thankful for my children and wife and their health – something money can’t buy.

I am thankful for the roughest year of my life, for the heart attack at age 39, and for the resulting gambling and drinking issues, and depression, which I have overcome. By having such a huge event in my life, it makes me thankful for all the small things in life, a birdsong, a smile, a song, the continuing support of my wife & kids. And of course I am thankful that I have discovered that there can be a different way to make a living. Thanks Eric & Happy Thanksgiving to all

    Hi Eric,

Sad to say that I’m quitting for a while all niches that I’ve started due to some problem over Saudi Rules. Yes, I’m in Saudi Arabia, an OFW who is just wishing to earn some amount to continue supporting my family on financial needs come the time I retire, 1-1/2 years from now.

If I’m not mistaken, it was 2007 when I signed up with you and since then I keep on reading your newsletters where in the early stages it was somewhat irritating because I didn’t understand what you were talking about and adding to this the slowness of our internet connections during those days. With your continued newsletter, slowly I was awaken about what you want to convey and from then I started the learning process. It wasn’t you who taught me everything I’ve learned but it was you who created the initiative on me. Your concepts on my learning curves are so comprehensive that I considered it as superb for newbies and advanced users as well. With your humble ways, I do wish that other marketers will follow your footsteps.

Thank you for your small but great gift and all the ideas you have shared with me and to others throughout the years. I can use it when I come back after I arrange my merchant account in the Philippines.

Once again thank you very much.

    Regards,

    Hi Eric,

We are a couple of late 50’s baby boomers that reside “down under” so don’t celebrate Thanksgiving (officially).

We have a lot to thank the past year for. We remain in good health and happily married and in love after 37 years and importantly to us our family of 3 children & 9 grandchildren also have good health.

I remain employed whilst many millions around the world have not only lost their jobs but their family homes through these troubled economic times.

I’m thankful that I stubbled across your “tips” and have started to see some light at the end of the Internet Marketing tunnel, I think? We have started to to regain our house from all the boxes that have been stored there for the past 2 years as we ventured into the import of a product to sell on eBay. I have stopped purchasing every bit of prodcut information I could get my hands on and now have a good focus on targeting particular markets. I don’t believe there are any IM mistakes found that we may not have made?

The year has a lot to be thankful for and with our new-found enthusiasim and focus the 2010 year will even be better.

From a potential business perspective I’m thankfull that I have found two gentlemen worlds apart, one in NZ & yourself Eric in the USA who have integrity and a genuine interest in supporting people like ourselves to find the courage to continue this IM journey.

    Thanks,
    Tom

Over a year ago I became unemployed. I’ve been on the internet trying to learn and earn a living. I’ve been working on here day and night. I’m grateful to God that He’s been leading me to people like you. People like you have been giving back in a very generous way by teaching us about Internet Marketing. You and the other people who are giving up your time to teach us and share your knowledge with us is a true blessing from God. Without people as yourself, I would still be struggling trying to learn the things that would take months and years to learn if had to do it on my own. I’m also grateful to God for always being there for me. I’m also trying to help others when I can to keep the flow of love moving through the net. I say love because anyone that gives of themselves is giving love and love will conquer all. The internet is world wide and by spreading love we can touch many people all over the world. Isee in people like you that it’s not about the dollar and I thank God for showing me all the beautiful people on the net. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless You, your family and everyone in the world. “Please Pray For Peace”
