Next, here is the 4th annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!
It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.
So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.
All you have to do is post a comment below saying something you’re thankful for. It could be one word, or it could be much more… it’s up to you.

Here is something I’m thankful for…
(My 5 kids with t-shirts from Israel. It’s sort of an inside joke in our family. Our home schooled kids had made up a funny song to memorize the bodies of water in the Middle East… so we had to get these shirts when we saw them.)

We are extremely thankful for the wonderful, highly trained medical personel who have been a a part of our lives the past few years. My husband has glaucoma and macular degeneration in both eyes requiring 3 to 5 eye appointments a month to keep his eyes as stabilized as possible. Monday, December 28 he is having a full ankle replacement which will keep him dependent on crutches and a walker for two months followed by 2 to 3 months rehab. I must also add that we are grateful for wonderful insurance coverage that takes care of these life-changing conditions.

I am very thankful to be living during a time of extremes. Some of the most horrendous things are happening now with war, natural disasters and corrupt industries and politics, but alternatively, there are huge advancements in technology and medicine (both holistic and traditional) and I am personally meeting more spiritually centered people than ever who honor God through the work they are doing to spread examples of his love all over the world. I am just thankful. Due to a tough family situation, I am across the US and away from my husband and son for the holidays, but I’m doing things that have to be done now with lots of loving support. I have plenty to be thankful for.

I’m thankful for being able to tell those things that aren’t good and staying away from them.
I’m thankful for not wanting to be sucking up to Eric nor anybody else even if it could bring some advantages and for clearly seing how some people just suck up to anybody if there’s even the slightest chance of it paying off.
