It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.
So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.

Here is something I’m thankful for…
(My wife, 5 kids, 2 cousins, mother-in-law, and 24 flavors of frozen custard. This was a fun day on one of our road trips, and was a special time because it was the last day we saw my wife’s grandfather before he died.)

This year I’m thankful more than ever for my family. My mother who’s 86 now is still in good health and 2 of my nieces were married this year….it’s nice to finally have more guys in the family(all sisters and nieces until now…lol) Tomorrow on Thanksgiving I’m really looking forward to being together with everyone.

Hi Eric, I love the US tradition of Thanksgiving, and whilst we don’t celebrate the same holiday in my part of the world, there’s no reason the concept of being ‘grateful’ shouldn’t be celebrated worldwide. Thanks for the reminder!

My Father! After I experienced Death due to Abuse I saw my father talking to the Doctor he truly had no idea! I came back because I loved MY Father and saw he was so devasted, but he died of a broken heart 18months later. Without knowing the loss of his love I would never have survived! I am thankful for the love and mercy my Father in heaven has shown me as I reflect today on the anniversary of my baptism 43 years ago.

Living on the Jersey Shore (about 3 miles from the ocean,) I am extremely thankful for surving Huuricane Sandy and the big snowstorm that hit a week later. Though we sustained big damage to parts of our house, we are alive and thankful to be in one piece. For many, they weren’t so lucky. God blessed us and kept us from harm’s way. We have our health and our faith. What more can we ask for? Thanks for everything.

It’s coming down to the New Year, isn’t Eric, but as many people see that, and target that date, people sometimes forget what they are grateful and thankful for…
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving after all, and they can be humbugs by saying, they have nothing to be grateful and be thankful for, or they can say, “wow I can read this, and I was able to walk and get my email by it.”
Even then, the people that can’t walk, they can still be thankful for the being able to read and live…
As tomorrow comes, the aroma from the kitchen creates hunger and laughter among family and friends, be happy…be happy still if you do not have this…
Be appreciative if you do not have this environment, because, it’s only a moment away, sort of like a turn of the page…
Everything is possible…continue living, dreaming, continue painting…your life is what you make of it..
What will the world say about you? Who cares…What do you say about yourself…
I am thankful for being alive! I lost my best friend/companion in January, and I have been trying to hold everything together ever since, financially ,etc. We shared everything together, bills. now I am just trying to learn IM so that I can have extra income. Your $25 gift would be nice. Thank you

BTW, I truly hope you have recovered fully from a very common health challenge, adrenal weakness. Regarding gratitude… I’m so grateful for so much in my life. We all have so many blessings, most of which we are not aware of. But what stands out for me is the gratitude I have for my husband. We’ve been married 25 years. And our love continues to grow and flurish. He’s an utter angel from God. He’s always there for me even when I’m impatient and irritable. I’m the high maintanance one. I have this online adventure… He sloggs away at his full time job that he really does love. I’m totally blind, and he’s sighted. He drives – I don’t. 🙂 I cook healthy meals and do all the social organnizing… Anyway, we have a pretty typical marriage… But he is far from typical. He’s the best husband in the world!
