Happy Thanksgiving 2012

By | November 21, 2012

Happy Thanksgiving! I realize that only about half of Eric’s Tips readers are in the USA, but gratitude transcends all borders.

First, I want everyone reading this to know that I’m thankful for YOU. Without you, Eric’s Tips wouldn’t exist.

Here’s a small free gift as a token of my appreciation. It’s a 49-page ebook that I paid to have ghostwritten awhile back, but I never got around to launching it.

I literally paid $600 for it, and it’s been sitting on my hard drive ever since. It’s never been released until today.

So I’m going to let you download it for free WITH Master Resale Rights. I even left it white-label (didn’t put my name on it), so you can sell it or add it as a bonus to any product.

Next, here is the 5th annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!

Wow, this is the 5th year we’ve done this!

It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.

So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.

All you have to do is post a comment below saying something you’re thankful for. It could be one word, or it could be much more… it’s up to you. If you need some inspiration, feel free to check out the comments from the past four years: 2011 | 2010 | 2009 | 2008

Here is something I’m thankful for…

frozen custard
(My wife, 5 kids, 2 cousins, mother-in-law, and 24 flavors of frozen custard. This was a fun day on one of our road trips, and was a special time because it was the last day we saw my wife’s grandfather before he died.)

Please post a comment below and let us know what you’re thankful for 🙂

Have a great day and a happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for so many things. My wife, my sons that are becoming fine young men, my health, the love of my extended family, my friends, my clients, my teachers, and the realization that every day is filled with wonderful opportunities.
Thank you for all that you do Eric!

I’m thankful that though I’m still laid off, and my UE benefits ran out, God is still providing for us. It may be last minute with paying bills/mortgage, but He is always “just in time”. God Bless you and your’s, Eric.

    Thankfulness shouldn’t be based on
    circumstantial evidence of things
going right, it should be based on
an understanding that in all things
we are trusting God under all
    circumstances.

I am thankful for bypassing with grace the Sandy storm in East cost. I am living in middle of north part of NJ with my Mother who this month is 98 years old.
We don’t lose the house, so we have a roof, thanks God! but we experienced 7 days without electricity, this means: no heat, no refrigerator, no PC, and no phone as my phone is via Skype.
At that time I had a single goal to keep Mom healthy, a 98 year old without heat was my major project to concentrate on.
To make the story short, we both are healthy now, and bypass the hardest part… the stress… I feel it even now… but I am thankful for the strength God give me to overcome all the difficulties. Nevertheless to say that any help was out of questions as my NJ friends live in parts of the state with extensive damage, they need serious help, so I was on my own just me and Mom who handle the situation with such grace.
Happy Thanksgiving Eric for you and your beautiful family, the kids enjoying the ice cream are adorable!

Yesterday I played and sang gospel songs at a funeral. Thankfully the fellow knew Jesus as his personal Savior so he’s enjoying Heaven right now but, the family that are left behind are pretty devastated at his sudden passing. I’m thankful I was able to help in that small way to bring comfort.

Thanks Eric for recommending Dave Henry’s offer about crowd funding. I am in the process of using that info to raise funds for an album of gospel songs I have written and wish to record. I’ve already secured a producer from around Nashville – Mark Riddick who is willing to help me promote this album when it is ready. Hopefully around Feb. next year.

I’ll send you a copy when it is completed. Hope you like gospel music that leans more to the country side.

    Thanks Eric.

I am happy that I have a roof over my head, heat, electricity, running water food, and that I am in reasonably good health for my age.

I hope that everyone has a terrific Thanksgiving and that you stay safe this Thanksgiving weekend.

I am truly thankful this year for miracles. My Father had emergency brain surgery, went into a coma, came out of it and is fine today. Unbelievable. I am thankful for miracles and what this universe is capable of.

Thank you. I am thankful for my family, my kids, my husband, my parents, my brothers, and thankful because all of us are with good health and are good persons. I also want to thank to God because for several situation that have happened, that seemed not so good, that pushed us to take decisions, and for that I had been taking steps to a new direction on my profession, and I found something I really love to do, I am still learning but I love it. Also, (and I don’t write this for the cash prize), I want to take the opportunity to say thank you Erick, for your page and tips, that have helped and motivated me a lot, and for the NCIS course, I bought it and it has been very useful for me. I think you are a reliable professional person and you have helped me a lot with your tips, and the course.

2 years ago I was a 4th stage cancer patient, ready to go to hospice. Cancer ate my right femur, which was mended with a metal plate. I did not want any radiation or chemo because I know people do not die from the cancer but from the treatment. I trusted God and He healed me completely. Thanks, honor and glory be to Him who is, has been and will ever be.

I’m grateful that I have (finally) learned not to see problems as just ‘problems’ … but as real opportunities to solve them and thereby rise to higher plateaus than I would have reached otherwise. Now whenever a problem comes along I look for the lesson. And express my gratitude in advance (which actually hastens the solution). 🙂
