Happy Thanksgiving 2012

By | November 21, 2012

Happy Thanksgiving! I realize that only about half of Eric’s Tips readers are in the USA, but gratitude transcends all borders.

First, I want everyone reading this to know that I’m thankful for YOU. Without you, Eric’s Tips wouldn’t exist.

Here’s a small free gift as a token of my appreciation. It’s a 49-page ebook that I paid to have ghostwritten awhile back, but I never got around to launching it.

I literally paid $600 for it, and it’s been sitting on my hard drive ever since. It’s never been released until today.

So I’m going to let you download it for free WITH Master Resale Rights. I even left it white-label (didn’t put my name on it), so you can sell it or add it as a bonus to any product.

Next, here is the 5th annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!

Wow, this is the 5th year we’ve done this!

It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.

So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.

All you have to do is post a comment below saying something you’re thankful for. It could be one word, or it could be much more… it’s up to you. If you need some inspiration, feel free to check out the comments from the past four years: 2011 | 2010 | 2009 | 2008

Here is something I’m thankful for…

frozen custard
(My wife, 5 kids, 2 cousins, mother-in-law, and 24 flavors of frozen custard. This was a fun day on one of our road trips, and was a special time because it was the last day we saw my wife’s grandfather before he died.)

Please post a comment below and let us know what you’re thankful for 🙂

Have a great day and a happy Thanksgiving!

I’m thankful for the years God has blessed me with the presence of my grandmother. She passed away last week and we miss her a lot but I feel thankful that God blessed our family with such an amazing woman. So instead of being sad I will rejoice in her life than be sorrowful at her death

    Eric,

The way I see it is this: One World, One Humanity and one chance to get it right. Let’s ALL hope and pray, but essentially DO the right thing.

I’m thankful for the Rotary clubs around the world. They give hope to a lot of people. I’m one of them, Rotary sent me to the US to study and it changed my life and my view of other peoples around the world. We are all God’s children and we should cherish one another for the rest of our lives.

Cheers to one of the most generous Marketers in the game. People are buying crap everyday when they can learn all they need right here to make the money they desperately want and need.

Really one of the good guys. Corny but true.

I’m blessed for each day that I wake up in the morning. Blessed to have a loving and suportive family. I’m grateful to have a job, grateful that my 12 yr old car with 200+ miles still gets me from point A to point B.
Lastly, I’m happy and blessed to “Live each day as if it were my last, because tomorrow isn’t promised.”

I am thankful for so many things. The Lord is so good. While sharing things we were thankful for I felt like I didn’t have a “big thing” to be thankful for. like a healing or big answer to prayer. But it hit me this year that I am thankful for things I don’t have. Like: health issues, debt, a death in my family in the past year, any major problem, etc.

Well Eric Im thankful for my great parents and my children. If it wasnt for my parents I wouldnt be celebrating my 50th birthday on Sunday…Realizing that Im turning 50 has really opened my eyes to the fact that what would have happened if I did die. I couldnt bare to see the faces of my kids if that ever happened and Im soo thankful that nothing too serious happened. Im soo glad that Im still here to help with my kids when they need me and vice versa.

My worst fear is that I wont be around to see my kids get married or to see my 1st grandbaby being born. My mother passed away at an early age and the fear of not being there for my kids has really hit home. I have 3 great boys 25, 23 & 18 and they are my life. I have started to treasure every moment I have with them. Im also thankful that I didnt die 4 years ago when I got into my car accident. Ever since then I have been trying to deal with the pain that I endeavor every day and TRUST ME there are times when I wish I had died. And then I remember my kids and how much I would miss them if I didnt make it.

Suffering from major chronic back pain and being diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1995 puts a toll on the way you feel, look and perceive things. Having to deal with everything that has been dealt to you in your life, I realized that somewhere there are ppl who are worse off then myself and thats when I start being thankful for being alive and having my kids here with me.

Without the help of my kids and my partner I think I would have just given up and not bothered to try to get my life back. My kids have had a big hand in helping me along the way. They have always been there for me whenever I needed them and Im so thankful that in todays society they were raised to be respectful, thoughtful and caring boys. Im soo thankful to have them in my life. SORRY IT WAS LONG BUT I MEANT EVERY WORD OF IT.

I am thankful that I live in a country where I can openly worship Jesus Christ and own as many Bibles as I want. I am thankful that God lives in me, that I have four of the best children a mother could hope for, that God has a plan for my life and I don’t know what it is, that I have hope every day and that I am strong and healthy.

I am thankful for soooo much more! I can’t even begin to list it all 🙂 I have almost died 3 different times, and I’m still here. I have a sister who loves me and I got out clean from an abusive ex-husband. My children have suffered minimal emotional damage from that situation and are getting help to get through the rest of it.

I have struggles, disappointments and a painful journey I am traveling today but I remain thankful to God for the blessings he sends me. I am thankful that I trust a God who is in control.

And the list just goes on.

Eric, Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for all the inspirational emails over the past few months. I can tell you really love what you do and enjoy sharing the wealth, so to speak. Many marketers charge for what you choose to give away for free. Very rare in this day and age. Maybe someday I will be as successful as you. One can only try and dream.

I really appreciate your step by step approach to showing us the ropes. You are right Dave. Why spend money on stuff if you don’t know what you are doing. I had a website with 10 sub pages and Google pay per click. It raked me over the coals and people were not buying that much. So, I say I must go back to the drawing board with your help. Thank you!

    Hello Eric:

Thanks for the Thanksgiving greeting and thanks for the Gift. Have been a recipient of Eric’s Tips for a long time; much appreciated. Like the picture of you and your wife. How does one go about adding a picture?
Have been married to the same grand lady for 68 yrs. Am a WWII vet who just rolled past the 90 yr. sign post – going like 60. I just came on the ‘Net 15 minutes ago so I will have to close by saying I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving with your family. It is sad to spend days like this without the joy of having family near in old age but that happens when the flock leaves the nest and locates hundreds of miles away.
