It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.
So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.

(My wife, 5 kids, 2 cousins, mother-in-law, and 24 flavors of frozen custard. This was a fun day on one of our road trips, and was a special time because it was the last day we saw my wife’s grandfather before he died.)

Eric, I really liked your picture of your family. You truly have a lot to be thankful for. I am thankful for a truly great year. My daughter got married in Sept. and we all couldn’t be happier for them. I’ve had some investments that have done well and allowed my to pay off a long overdue debt so that has been a Blessing. I really need to say that I am so thankful that I got to spend last Christmas with my mom for the last time as she was the world to me and my wife, she died this January with heart problems. She has been very sick before Christmas of 2011 and we all thought including her doctor that she wasn’t going to make it to Christmas, but god bless her for making it a Christmas that I will never forget, thanks mom for all your love, I will miss you.
After nearly dying several times, my girlfriend’s mother was just told yesterday by her new doctor that she would be fine with new medications.
Each year that passes I am THANKFUL FOR ALL THE GOD HAS GIVEN ME AND MY FAMILY.
This year is no different.
