Happy Thanksgiving 2013

By | November 28, 2013

Happy Thanksgiving! I realize that only about half of Eric’s Tips readers are in the USA, but gratitude transcends all borders.

And happy Hanukkah! Supposedly these two holidays won’t eclipse again for 79,000 years, so that’s pretty special 🙂

First, I want everyone reading this to know that I’m thankful for YOU. Without you, Eric’s Tips wouldn’t exist.

Here’s a small free gift as a token of my appreciation. It’s a 43-page niche ebook that I recently created, as a result of my wife’s newfound passion for essential oils. It has never been released before.

You get to download it for free today WITH Master Resale Rights. You can sell it or add it as a bonus to any product.

Next, here is the 6th annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!

Wow, this is the 6th year we’ve done this!

It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.

So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.

All you have to do is post a comment below saying something you’re thankful for. It could be one word, or it could be much more… it’s up to you. If you need some inspiration, feel free to check out the comments from the past five years: 2012 | 2011 | 2010 | 2009 | 2008

    Hey Eric,

    Happy Thanksgiving!

We’ve been using essential oils for about 6 months and absolutely love them. My favorites are Frankincense, Lemon, Orange and Lavender.

I lost my mother this year and that was a really tough time. However, I am thankful that she had a great life and that I still have my brothers in my life. Happy Thanksgiving, to all.

    Hello Eric,

I wanted to say I have not yet had a chance to read all 50 email lessons at this midway point however, it is good to see that email and see your words each and everytime even if I do have to save many of them for later viewing due to my current workload. Our world is a better place with people like yourself and your family. You are an great example of what men should be and should be doing. Having a family, loving that family, providing for that family, sharing with that family and growing daily with that family. Many thanks for what you do, God Bless.

I’m thankful that I live in a part of the world where there are more opportunities for personal success than in many other countries. Living in New England and a fitness enthusiast, I’m thankful that no one I personally know was injured in the marathon bombing in Boston. I’m also thankful that I have so many friends that feel more like family.

    Happy Thanksgiving Eric and Family!

I am thankful for so much – My spiritual life (Higher Power), my Family/Loved ones, my life experiences-good and bad,
    and of course Eric’s tips.

Your wife’s book is wonderful…I hold a certification in essential oils, 1999 from Bastyr U. I develop my own recipes mostly for myself now…focused on “relaxation and mediation” oil blends.

You and Your Family have a wonderful Thanksgiving today, as we all have something to be thankful for…I am
    thankful every day.

    BLESSINGS, BLESSINGS and more BLESSINGS!

P.S. Your little bundle of joy is so cute…she has a combo look…she looks lie both you and your wife:)!

I’m thankful my friends have such a great sense of humor…and keep my e-mail box full of the laughter
this kind of thing sparks ,as follows:

    TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING,
    BUT I JUST COULDN’T SLEEP.
    I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS,
    I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.

    THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED –
    THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE,
    BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION
    WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.

    TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION,
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.
SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR,
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.
GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES,
PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES.

I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND,
‘TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND.
I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, FLOATING INTO THE SKY,
WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE.
BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES….
HAPPY EATING TO ALL – PASS THE CRANBERRIES, PLEASE.

    MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY,
    MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP.
MAY YOUR POTATOES ‘N GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP.
    MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS.
MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE,
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS!!

I am thankful that my husband survived–and recovered from– a heart attack followed by 3 strokes. Now, almost a year later, you wouldn’t even know anything like that had happened. God is good. We’ve been married 63 years, and I wasn’t quite ready to give him up, yet. Hope you and yours are having as wonderful a Thanksgiving as we are.

Thank you for “Eric’s Tips” Eric they are most enlightening and often entertaining
What I find most unusual and am very grateful for with your tips
is that they are given freely with no hidden agenda

All too often, information on the internet appears to be freely given but then
you have to sign up to a list or buy something to get the Kernel or main ingredient of the information
    No so with Eric’s Tips

    Thank you Eric

It’s kinda odd, or is it karma? I just dusted off my “The Secret” DVD a few days ago and watched it again. As a result I thought about and wrote down the things that I am truly thankful for. I’d never actually written them down before which is a shame because I found it a powerful and profound experience. Here are my top five:
    1. My lovely partner who picked me up when I was at a really low point.
    2. My two sons who love me even though I have been an absent father.
    3. For my parents to be well again after both having serious health scares recently – Mom with cancer and Dad with kidney failure.
    4. My health which is very good (a recent check-up had my metabolic age 15 years younger than my physical age!).
    5. My awesome friends in Herbalife who treat me like one of the gang even though I’m old enough to be father to most of them.
    6. My online mentors, (like you Eric) for giving me the hope and belief that I can be successful.

I know, that’s six. OK so I over-delivered, that’s something you taught me Eric 😉

I am in the UK but my brother lives in the USA and will be celebrating thanksgiving so to all my US buddies – have a great one!

    Happy thanksgiving

Hi Eric, and thank you for the gift! I could not have received a better gift since I too as your wife am very interested in essential oils, preferrably organic, and wanted to know more about the topic, was also just going to buy and try a few oils. Again, thanks!

P.S. Since it’s with master resale rights and not PLR I can not translate it and sell/give away in Swedish, can I?

Eric, I am thankful for many things because I feel that I am truly blessed. I think there are some things that make our lives richer by far than ever before in the history of mankind. The love of our families being the most important of these. The freedom to worship as we believe we should. The freedom to speak our minds as we must. The ability to communicate and share ideas with our fellow humans wherever they may be. I am personally thankful for the opportunities I’ve had in my life to travel, work in a field that inspired me, raise a family, and hold grandbabies in my arms.

Life has been good for me and that is why I am so thankful because I realize that life is a struggle for many.

Millions see their lives cut short by hunger, disease, and war. Perhaps many thousands or hundreds of thousands of could be Einsteins, Galileos, or Michaelangelos never fulfill their promise to humanity because they died too early or never received an education.

I pray a special blessing upon all of you, today.

“May the Lord, God, bless you and keep you always. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
May God, who began the good work within you, continue to be at work in your life, bringing everything to completion on the day when Christ Jesus comes back again. May your love for others overflow more and more, May you keep growing in your knowledge and understanding. May you Never forget what really matters, so that you may live a pure and blameless life until Christ returns. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for living this way will bring much glory and praise to God (Philippians 1:6, 9-11).”

I pray this blessing in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

I am really into your recommendations and Tips, Eric. You have definitely given me the information and courage that I should have had 10 years ago. I am moving quickly. I am putting it all together. I am finally “coachable”. And though, my wife hates the porn-like intro/outtro music, she knows that I am serious about understanding ecommerce. I am excited about my future. Thanks for making it simple!

I am thankful for three things. One, that I am alive and still able to enjoy all the good things in life. Two, I am thankful that we are very creative and inventive people so that there will be great things to see in the future, and I am thankful for the most important asset to families and to this and all countries and that is our children, where someday will come our leaders, teachers, inventors and hopefully the skill, want and desire to make this a better world than the one we live in today. Paul
