Happy Thanksgiving 2016!

By | November 24, 2016

Happy Thanksgiving! I know that only about half of Eric’s Tips readers are in the USA, but gratitude transcends all borders 😉

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on this site… actually it’s been since last Thanksgiving. Those of you who are subscribers know I’ve still been sending out free content and tips via email. I plan to post a year-end update with pictures and stuff to let you know what I’ve been up to for the past year, as well as my future plans for this site.

But this is one tradition I’m not ready to break. It’s the 9th consecutive year we’ve done this, and it’s become a part of the DNA of Eric’s Tips.

First, I want everyone reading this to know that I’m thankful for YOU. Without you, Eric’s Tips would not exist.

Here are a few free gifts as a token of my appreciation. You can download these ebooks for free right now:

Now, here is the 9th annual Eric’s Tips Thanksgiving contest!

It’s a good thing to express your gratitude for what you’re thankful for. In fact, it’s been shown to have health benefits.

So once again, we are going to do a group exercise to demonstrate our thankfulness.

All you have to do is post a comment below saying something you’re thankful for. It could be one word, or it could be much more… it’s up to you.

If you need examples or inspiration feel free to check out any of the previous years.

Here’s a picture of my family in the front lobby of our new business. I am so thankful to God for blessing me with them.

Please post a comment below and let us know what you’re thankful for 🙂

Have a great day and a happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for a Heavenly Father who never gives up on me.
I went to Mongolia last year to teach English as a Second Language at a High School and University. I managed to save enough money to purchase an old 1980 Ford truck. I put a camper top on the back, a bed and a cook stove. I slept in it because that’s all I have right now. I went up to Cleveland, TN to help an elderly lady move out of her apartment. The second night there, somebody stole my truck. They got all my clothes, food, truck, bed, everything.
My brother came up and got me back home. I have been walking Hwy 53 since Aug 29th, the day of the theft. People have picked me up and been so kind. Three weeks ago, a brother in the Lord gave me a 99, Chrysler Sebring convertible! It needs electrical work and I presently do not have the money to get it repaired. I pray often for a mechanic.
I am writing content for websites and making a little bit of money. I sit in coffee shops and restaurants with free wifi and write articles for companies. I sleep in a garage with no garage door, open to the night. But, I have a heater and I am warm at night.
I am so thankful for the ability to write and the ways Heavenly Father has shown himself to be strong on my behalf. I am not sad and I am not defeated. I really do have such a strong sense that Yahweh is doing His work in my life. The circumstances are specifically chosen by Him to bring me into conformance with His divine will. This is a priceless walk!

I am an 83 year old Great Grandmother and I am thankful that I have been blessed with vitality and happiness and am still here to appreciate the love and support that all my family and many friends give me. I have amazing neighbours and as I live on my own with no family living anywhere close, so without the wonderful support and generosity of my neighbours and close friends, to assist with simple little things like changing light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries etc. I don’t think I could manage. God has been very kind to me. I am just grateful for life what an amazing experience it is.

I am ever so thankful for all I have, all I’ve had, and all I will have.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn something new every day and the ability to implement those things.

But most of all, I’m thankful for the life I’m living and those I’m able to help!

I am Thankful this year in that I am a newlywed and so blessed to spend this Thanksgiving with my beautiful bride and share in God’s many blessings. Life is difficult at best, but his grace is stronger. Also thank you for being honest marketers, I have purchased several course from you and always am pleased with what I learn and the value of the products. My next step is to find a mentor when I make a bit more online.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family!

I’m so grateful that despite my wicked past that God saved me a sinner while in prison. I’m grateful that despite failing back into my addiction and going back to prison again that He took that time and used it to give me an opportunity to get deeper into His Word and to submit to His Lordship in my life. I’m so very grateful that as a result of “Doing Time” I was prepared for a Jail Ministry that prepared me to become the shepherd of our little congregation when our Pastor left this year. I’m thankful to the Lord and praise His name for not only restoring but giving me back more than I frittered away.

I am really Thankful for all the blessings in my life. I am thankful that my health is good (and I still need to reduce my weight); I have a job caring for a soon to be 100 year old who shows me that a person’s mindset has a lot to do with ability. I am thankful that I have a wonderful supportive family, great friends who are also very positive and energetic.

I am thankful to God for saving my son’s life. Twenty eight years ago he was given less than 15 minutes to live. My mom went into the ICU nursery and prayed over him for God to heal his tiny little body. She felt the presences of the Lord in the room and said she did not want to be that close to him again until it was her time to go home. After being transfered via air to the children’s hospital in Vancouver Canada and over the course of the week have them test and poke him to find out what was happening we were able to return back to the hospital where the prayers took place. The nurses were in the room and came up to us and said, We know something happened that day you were here a week ago, They said that the clock stood still for a minute. Mom replied yes, The Lord had come to save this child. So I am thankful to have my son today. It has not been a easy road and over the past 8 years his health has taken a turn again. It cost us 30,000 to get him diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He has 5 serious rare health issues and heading for a bone marrow transplant. Right now there is no match anywhere in the world for him. So please say a prayer as the power of prayer works. Thank you as well for the training and support you give to so many people. With your courses I have been able to learn about marketing and making money to help support my son. So THANK YOU!!! Stay Blessed!

I am so truly THANKFUL that I serve a Messiah who is truly a miracle giver! My 22 year old son, Shmu`el, who was born with a ‘lethal in males, no known cure rare syndrome.” The doctors said he would never see his 7th birthday, would be mentally challenged, would never know when he was hungry, know to urine, stool and would never talk. The syndrome produced heart problems – he had total heart reconstruction surgery just weeks old and would need six more – He’s only had the one! My Cherub did not start talking until he was 5 1/2 years old and is absolutely brilliant! He is passionately n Love with Y’Shua! He recently returned from serving 8 months on a medical mission ship that gives medical care to remote villagers in the South Pacific. This trip is the beginning his life’s desire journey of “helping save lives of children in yet developing countries.”

Hi Eric (and Eric’s Family). Love your photo. Congratulations on the new business, too. Yesterday I awakened to a beautiful Southern California morning. The air was sweet and easy to breathe. My new pup, an abandoned Jack Russell Chihuahua, licked my nose. I watched a hummingbird enjoy the feeder in my backyard. The morning was spend preparing our feast in a warm, clean home that I (mostly) own. My 78-year-young Mom helped with the preparations. I drove my newish car to the next town and picked up my 92-year-young friend, a holocaust survivor, who would also join us. She was waiting in her driveway with a bouquet of fresh flowers and a hug. When we got back to my home, my dearest friend, a young man who has survived 11 brain surgeries (due to having been born with hydrocephalus) rang my doorbell just a few minutes after we’d arrived. He brought three flavors of chilled Martinelli’s sparking cider for us all to enjoy… and 2 1 lb. boxes of See’s chocolates for Mom and I (which probably won’t make it through the weekend). My Mom’s 10-year-old Boston Terrier Chihuahua pup cheerfully barked at the new arrivals until having received adequate accolades and pats on the head. We gathered ’round the table, which was filled with a perfectly roasted over-stuffed turkey, home made mashed potatoes, marshmallow-topped candied yams with pecans, cranberry sauce, gravy with drippings and fresh hot croissants. We lifted our glasses to friendship, love and all of life’s little miracles we had enjoyed that day, wishing one another continued moments of such joy in the year to come. After my guests had safely reached their homes, and Mom had retired for the night, I browsed my email using my smartphone and was delighted to find that nearly all of the Friends and Clients I had sent greetings expressing my gratitude to had responded in kind, many sharing news of their abundance and joy, as well as their promises of business to come my way soon. It was a truly perfect day and one for which I am immensely grateful. I hope yours and your family’s was as well… and I wish all in the world…. many perfect days to come… for all of us to share,

I’m thankful for my life. Due to significant health issues and by all odds, I should not have reached my 79th year. BUT HERE I AM! And here I’ll stay! The object lesson: Live every minute of every day like it is your last taste of life. Savor every second – appreciate, respect, and love everyone in your life. This is your only chance……

Scripture: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever. He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever. He saved us from our enemies. His faithful love endures forever. He gives food to every living thing. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.” (Ps. 136:1-3, 23-26)

The dependability of God’s creation reflects His faithfulness. Your life experience shows His faithfulness. You couldn’t even number the times He thinks about you!

I’m thankful to live in the PC/Internet age (I remember the time when neither existed).
I’m thankful that I’ve never gone to bed hungry due to lack of food (I realize that so many people in the world, and even in our country still do).
I’m thankful that I’ve never had to flee for my life and try to immigrate to another country that doesn’t really want me.
Despite our many “issues” I am forever thankful to be born in the U.S.A.

I once was returning from the bank and happened to be crossing an avenue. All of a sudden, I realized that speeding cars were on their way and I sort of froze in the middle while two of them whizzed around me. When I saw a window of
opportunity I quickly leaped forward only to realize that I did so fast enough before another car drove past me. Whew!! Call it luck or blessing, but I’m Thankful I’m alive today! a REAL MIRACLE Straight from the Twilight Zone!

    Hello, Eric and family.

Well, it’s been quite the journey, hasn’t it? My latest news:
In June of 2016, I had the surgery that took more than seven years to plan and prepare for. (1 down, two to go!) As it is me typing these words, I suppose we could say the surgery was a success. 🙂

I have learned on this particular journey the meaning of, and how to be radically Thank Full! I get the opportunity today to rebuild a business dark for more than two years, with the hope and expectations of renewed giving, learning, growing and sharing with others; to stand alongside teaching and mentoring new or struggling internet marketers, and to know that living a life (no matter how marginal) of value and purpose is not only possible, but actual.

Thank you for leading the way. I am so very thankful for that.

    Best Regards,

Thank You Eric and Happy Thanksgiving to you and Your family… I thought long and hard about what I was thankful for this year and my only answer was that I am Thankful that things for me and my daughter are not much worse than they are! It’s been a VERY tough year for us both (Health Wise) and financially struggling to keep the heat on and the constant rent increases here. Anyway thanks for all the great tips and support you ALWAYS provide your readers. We ALL really do appreciate you Eric, All The Best!

Thank you Eric for being an example of a leader who is consistent in pursuing and promoting his on-line business. You are encouraging and leading a large group of entreprenuers who so want to be successful but don’t think they have what it takes to do it. But if you can do it and still raise a family of six children it makes us re-think our position and search for the pockets of time we are either wasting or could possibly apply to our business.
May you be richly blessed for you faithfulness by our awesome creator,
